U.S. Department of Peace Leads the Charge: Supporting ‘No Kings Day’ and Standing Against Fascism Nationwide at the Ventura Government Center in California

June 14th, Ventura, California

On what is now remembered as No Kings Day, the Ventura Government Center witnessed over 6,000 passionate demonstrators marching together for democracy, dignity, and justice. Simultaneously, an estimated 10 million people across the country raised their voices in unison—condemning what they view as fascist policies and authoritarian behavior linked to Donald Trump’s domestic and international actions.

The U.S. Department of Peace stood proudly beside the people organizing, mobilizing, and providing direct support to both local and national demonstrations. Our mission has always been to protect the principles of peace, justice, and democratic values and on this pivotal day, our presence was more important than ever

We will continue to work with communities, activists, and legislators to ensure that this momentum leads to lasting change. As we move forward, we call on all Americans to remain engaged, stay informed, and continue the fight for a peaceful and democratic future.
